Repair Response Times

Always remember, when you report a repair to us, to provide your name, address, contact details and the nature of the repair. Sometimes an inspection may be required before the repair is undertaken. Not all repairs are given the same degree of priority and, in order for our approved contractors to organise their work, repairs are categorised as follows:

Emergency - Repairs will be carried out within 24 hours of being reported. e.g. burst pipes, dangerous electrical problems

Urgent - Any urgent repairs should be carried out within 4 days of being reported e.g. plumbing issues, electrical work

Routine - Any routine repairs are aim to becarried out within 20 days of being reported e.g. repairs to fences, carports, external stores

We always try to deal with all repairs quickly and within the above response times. Sometimes, however, our contractors may be busier than usual, for instance after bad weather, and there may on occasion be delays. We publish our repair response times for the year in our Annual Report and in our Tenant Newsletter. We also display these response times in the reception areas of our offices.
