Woven Community Involvement - calendar of events and activities
We have a full Communities Team, working closely with our Housing Officers and Community Assistants to help deliver a whole range of activities, events and classes to communities right across Northern Ireland and help support a greater level of Tenant Engagement. Training and education, arts, culture, health and wellbeing, family days and environmental awareness - young and old are involved, lots of fun is had along the way and new friendships are made.

Activities cover Housing for All (HfA), Community Involvement (CI), Tenant Engagement (TE), and National Lottery (tNL) funded events. You can also click to view the Tenant Engagement Calendar for the coming year and you can read more about our overall approach in our Tenant & Community Engagement Strategy. This existing Tenant Engagement Strategy was extended a year beyond its initial remit, so that a new strategy from April 2027 could be informed by the overall Tenant Participation Strategy for Northern Ireland, which is due to be launched at the end of 2026. An action plan was drawn up with tenants, in partnership with Supporting Communities to cover the period 2026 - 2027. Support for Community Activities
We have a budget set aside to support Community Involvement initiatives. Our Aim is to support and increase the type and number of activities based at our schemes which promote a community spirit and provide benefits to residents.
Download a copy of the Application Criteria and speak to our Community Team if you need support for projects.In 2026 we are rolling-out our Wofund initiative to community groups across NI who have projects within or close to Woven housing schemes.
