Home Swapping

When you accept a tenancy with Woven, it is assumed to be suitable to meet your needs. If, however, your circumstances change we will consider applications for a transfer on the following grounds:

• 

  If you are overcrowded

• 

  If your accommodation is too large

• 

  If there are serious medical or social reasons requiring you to move

• 

  If you need to move to be near work or relatives for support

If supply accommodation is limited, we may not always be able to offer you the right house in the right area.

Did you know that if you wanted to move you can swap homes? You may be able to make use of the Mutual Exchange Scheme. Under this scheme, provided you meet the conditions, you have the right to exchange your home with another of our tenants, or a tenant of another Housing Association or NIHE. You have to get our permission (and the permission of the other landlord, if one is involved).
